5″ Myler Eggbutt Comfort Snaffle w/ Slots

Here is a great, older style 5″ Myler Eggbutt Wide BarrelComfort Snaffle (MB02). This is a very popular option for horses who need the stability of a mullen mouth and who don’t care for the nutcracker effect of traditional snaffles. Eggbutt, with slots (hooks). With the slots in the cheek pieces rather than outside make this one that can be used like a sliding gag bit, an older and very popular style for the hooks/slots. In very good used condition. Per Myler:

The MB 02 is the Myler alternative to the traditional French link or lozenge mouthpiece commonly used in snaffle bits. The MB 02 rotates onto the tongue, applying tongue pressure, but because the mouthpiece is curved, it wraps around the bars and lips instead of pinching. The barrel in the center applies approximately the same pressure on the tongue as a traditional three-piece mouthpiece, however, the barrel distributes the pressure more kindly and creates Independent Side Movement.
