5″ Myler Eggbutt Forward Tilt w/ Hooks

Demo condition 5″ Stainless Steel Eggbutt with Hooks with Forward Tilt Ported Barrel (MB 36, Level 2/3) Copper Inlay. Level 3 with a lower port that offers great tongue relief, hooks for mild leverage option and is great for a horse who needs a bit with more anatomical support. Eggbutt, with slots (hooks). With the slots in the cheek pieces rather than outside make this one that can be used like a sliding gag bit, an older and very popular style for the hooks/slots. In ‘demo’ condition-does not appear to have ben used at all, just stored. Per Myler:

The MB 36 is a Myler alternative to the traditional mullen, but it has a wide low port that allows the tongue to pass under it comfortably. The port is 1″ high, and tilted forward at a 45º angle, allowing just enough room for the horse’s tongue to elevate slightly and swallow, but not high enough for palate pressure. When the reins are engaged, the MB 36 applies pressure primarily to the bars and lip, but also applies tongue pressure because of the forward tilt.
