5″ Myler HBT Short Shank Comfort Snaffle

Nice, excellent used Myler MB02 comfort snaffle, short shank HBT curb. 5″ Sweet iron mouth that just started to rust, copper inlays, all for a pleasant taste and to promote salivation for your horse. With time and use, the sweet iron mouth rusts to offer a pleasant taste for your horse. Excellent used condition with the mouth just barely starting to rust. Per Myler:

The MB 02 is the Myler alternative to the traditional French link or lozenge mouthpiece commonly used in snaffle bits. The MB 02 rotates onto the tongue, applying tongue pressure, but because the mouthpiece is curved, it wraps around the bars and lips instead of pinching. The barrel in the center applies approximately the same pressure on the tongue as a traditional three-piece mouthpiece, however, the barrel distributes the pressure more kindly and creates Independent Side Movement.

The HBT shank is stainless steel and slightly curved back, with a flat-top purchase and a rein ring. The mouthpiece has a fixed attachment. The HBT shank has the patented Independent Swivel Cheek, where the purchase, mouthpiece and shank all move independently of each other. The purchase is slightly angled away from the cheek to avoid rubbing. It has an indirect (curb) rein action designed to be used with a curb strap which attaches to the purchase. The HBT shank uses the combination of the fixed cheek and fixed rein to apply pressure to the mouth, chin and poll.
