5″ Myler Level 1/2 Short Shank Hinged Bristol Barrel (MB 40) sweet iron mouth. This design’s goal is to remove the nutcracker effect of traditional snaffles, but still give the support many horses desire from a Myler bit. This mouthpiece is made of polished Sweet Iron which naturally oxidizes or rusts. Harmless to horses, it has a sweet taste and promotes salivation. Lightly used, mouth has barely started to rust. This is a discontinued bit and these are hard to find!
