5″ Myler Original Hinge Port Elevator Bit

Here is a nice, original Myler, not made with Toklat. This one was a custom ordered one, with custom shanks. The shanks are most commonly seen in English Elevator bits, with equal shank and purchase length, designed to give more correction for horses who turn into freight trains on jump courses. 5″ mouth, shanks measure a total of 6 3/4″. Sweet iron mouth with a mouth piece that is very similar to an MB33, which gives ample tongue relief without significant correction. Hinge at the top of the port, allowing for a bit of movement but without collapsing or pinching. This bit is in excellent used condition, with the sweet iron mouth just hardly starting to rust. This isn’t one you’ll see again unless you custom order it. Very nice bit!
