16″ Western Saddle Tree

Here is a nice, affordable, really nice quality tree. We don’t have a ton of info on it, but came from a high end saddler who switched to a different tree style.  Horn as removed in favor of having a post horn added, but as you can see the previous builder moved onto another project. This is clearly a quality tree, bullhide wrapped white pine. Never been built on. Shows just a bit of stretching at the bullhide stitching which is typical of natural bullhide. Does have one spot where the bullhide is split, but again pretty typical of natural bullhide. Marked on back of cantle as: 8550, 16″, Mexico. Association/all around style tree. Measurements are as follows:

• Seat: 16″
• 10.5″ thigh space
• 4″ rear channel width
• 6″ cantle height from bottom of tree, 4″ cantle
• 7″ QH Bars, 6.5″ gullet height
• 12.5″ swells
• 21.5″ total tree length
