Vintage Craftool USA Leather Stamping Tool Pre-1963 Checkered Background

Nice, lightly used vintage, US made Craftool Leather Tools leather stamp. #889 Course Checkered Backgrounder Stamp. This one is a very rare stamp, made prior to 1963 and is more refined with sharper stamp than the modern comparison (A105) of the tools made after 1968. Clear/sharp stamp, stamps evenly, shows very little wear. May show a minor mark or two on handle from use and storage. Approx. stamp dimensions: 1/4″ long.
