16.5″ Tucker Buffalo Trail Saddle

It is no rumor about how much we love Tucker Saddles. We love these saddles so much, we have two of them! This one (2011 model) has clearly been a favorite of its rider, but has had impeccable care. Per serial number, it is a 16.5″, actually measuring a bit bigger, fitting closer to a 17″, with a very deep and padded seat, 4.5″ cantle. On a Medium tree per serial number, measuring 6.5″ with a more “A” framed tree with ample wither clearance and wider flare, fitting like QH Bars. But does fit wider than you’d expect with the measurement, fitting low and wider. This one has some rock to the bar, making this a great option for a horse with a bit more angle. Let’s talk about skirt! This one is impossibly short at just 24″, making this a great option for those mounts with super short backs. This one offers butter soft leather, slightly set back dropped rigging to open up the shoulder, very light weight at just 28lbs, and has stripped down fenders to lessen the bulk under your leg to support knees and ankles. That seat is where it’s at! It is heavily padded with a self cooling impact gel material to absorb shock, while keeping you cool and secure. Comes with all brass hardware, including plenty of rings for your packs, crupper ring, and a ton of added strings. Comes with matching rear billets and stirrup turners. In very, very dark brown and has been oiled often so the leather is soooooooo soft. Overall this saddle is in excellent condition, showing a couple scuffs/scrapes, but minor. Grab it before we decide we need a third to call our tack room home!
