4 7/8″ Bob Blackwood BB Sweetwater Colt Bit

Bob Blackwood is known as a heck of a spur maker. He didn’t make many bits, but the ones he did are highly collectable and rarely available on the used market. This is a great colt bit or using bit, with a smaller mouth at 4 7/8″, with sweet iron sweetwater style port that offers ample tongue relief. Very short shanks at just 6 1/4″. Marked on the shank with Blackwood’s BB makers mark. Has a nice weight to it and has a great balance and feel. Despite being an older bit, this one is in excellent/lightly used condition. Grab this bit while you can, it may be a while until you see another one like it!
