5″ Maheu Custom Loomis Shank Curb

This is such a nice bit from famed bit maker, Ray Maheu. This one is in excellent used condition. 5″ mouth in all sweet iron, with a hinge/scissor joint. This joint prevents the nutcracker effect of a snaffle joint, offering more stability without correction or pinching. Has a swept back, Loomis style shank, measuring 8.25″. This one has a great weight and feel, very well balanced. In excellent used condition, showing typical rust to the sweet iron. Show legal shanks. You don’t see ones like this very often!
