5 1/8″ Sliester Western Curb Bit

These bits are so cool! Talk about custom quality! Sliester bits have a long lasting reputation in the western world for being quality, long lasting, and attractive bits. Nice, slightly larger size at 5 1/8″. Thinner mouth, thinning towards the center snaffle joint. This one has the standard 4-point design, swept back 8.5″ shanks, slightly shorter purchase, and is in excellent vintage condition. Older bit, only marked on the bit stabilizer. Made from an alloy, never rust material that has nice natural patina. Quite a weighty bit, with nice balance and feel. Truly one to use or add to a collection.
