5.25″ Walt Rambo Vintage Lady Leg Curb Bit w/ Matching Paul Kelleher Buckle Set

This is an incredible…and matching set! The bit is from well respected, late bit and spur maker Walt Rambo of Austin, Texas. He is well known for his play on the lady leg/gal leg in his bits and spurs, with incredible attention to detail. Sadly, Walt passed in 2017, with few pieces made the years before he passed. While an incredible builder, he wasn’t a prolific builder so there aren’t many like this on the market. The curb is a rounded port, fixed shank curb with a slightly larger mouth at 5.25″. Port is a rounder/wider port measuring 2″ and all iron. Very short shank on this one at just 6″. Show legal bit! On the shank is the famed lady leg in silver overlay with copper detailing. Bit is in incredible, hardly used condition. Offers brilliant balance, with a nice weight and feel. To somehow make this one even better, it comes with a matching buckle set from modern builder Paul Kelleher. These buckles sets along rarely go for less than $200…if you can get ahold of them. The buckle set is in unused condition. Measures 1 7/8″ wide by 2″ tall, will fit a strap up to 1″. This set is priced to sell. Ready to ride or add to a collection. You can’t go wrong here.
