5″ Doyle Stanfill Custom Ported Chain Curb Bit

This is a heck of a bit, made by Doyle Stanfill. Doyle is a 90-something year young cowboy who has an incredible history in the equine industry, proving everyday that age is just a number. He is known for his expert ironwork, making brilliantly balanced bits and spurs. Talk about detail!  Each shank are fully mounted with silver overlay that has incredible engraving and detail, finished off with just a bit of copper detailing. 5″ chain lined mouth with center mounted 2″ port with copper rollers. 8″ shank. This is quite a weighty bit, heavier than most but is still well balanced. In unused condition, from a long time collector’s collection. With his age, these will become rare. Grab it while you can!
