5″ Sliester Vintage Low Port Curb Bit

These bits are so cool! Talk about custom quality! Sliester bits have a long lasting reputation in the western world for being quality, long lasting, and attractive bits. This one is an older one, with what is often referred to as Never Rust (multi-metal alloy) shanks with a stainless mouth. While Never Rust doesn’t rust, it does develop a cool patina with time and age. This one does have some of that natural patina on the shanks. 5″ mouth with lower and wider port, mouth and slobber bar are both stainless. No engraving on this one. 8.25″ shanks. This bit is quite weighty and offers a great balance and feel. While older, has been very well cared for and is in very good used condition. Shows a few marks on the shanks. Great bit, one that will last well into the next generation (or two).
