5″ Vintage Champion Turf Ported Curb Bit

This is such a cool, vintage bit. Sadly, Champion Turf has to close their doors years ago so its hard to find pieces like these available, especially ones that haven’t been used before! This cool bit has a dramatic, S-Shaped shank with dots along the bottom, a large star concho at the side of the mouth, with additional dot details. 5″ sweet iron mouth that is thinner in diameter with a larger/wider port that measures 1.75″. All the silver detailing appears to be either German or Alpaca silver and its fully antiqued brown. This is quite a weighty bit that has a brilliant balance and feel. Shanks measure 8.5″. This is a new with tags/new old stock bit, never used but has been in storage for some time. There is a bit of patina/tarnish on the concho on one side, but is very minor. This is a darn cool bit and is show ring ready! Original tag shows just a bit of wear from storage.
