Mike Quick Hackamore w/ Leather Noseband

Mike Quick and the Quick family have built bits for a long time and have developed a ‘look’ that is well recognized. However, they didn’t make very many hackamores. This one is a bit older, with the older style makers mark, likely from when the company was being transitioned from Ervin Quick, who built bits for over 60 years, to his son Mike Quick. Offers a wide leather noseband over a metal core, rotates at the side with a very durable joint, has a bit stabilizer bar and curb chain. Shanks measures 9″. This one has more weight to it than many hackamores, and has a really nice feel. Despite this one being older, its in very good condition. Shows just a bit of patina on the metal. Curb chain does show some rust. Nice option for a horse who doesn’t wish to take a bit. This one is ready to ride or add to a collection!
