140″ Vintage Reata Braided Split Reins

This is an incredible piece of vintage working tack. If you are fond of the way the old timers made things, this is right up your alley! We don’t have an idea of the braider or maker, but came in from a lot of high end/vintage tack and working gear. These are clearly an older/vintage pair of reata style braided split reins, even with the traditional honda ends. 140″ total, including popper end, with a really nice feel. These have been wrapped up for a while, so do coil, but with use and some time, these will uncoil. Have been stored well, no defects, some discoloration on the rawhide from use and time. Incredible example of the old style round braiding with a great quality rawhide.
