13.5″ Circle Y The Proven Barrel Saddle

This barrel saddle is just so nice! The Proven model of barrel saddles is only offered through Circle Y’s High Horse line of saddles–this one is made before that, with all the quality and craftsmanship you’d expect from CY. This one is a bit older (2002 Model), but has been well cared for and just had a full facelift! Per serial number, this one is a 14″, however fits like a 13.5″ as it has a super deep seat. On Circle Y’s standard tree, fitting like QH bars, measuring 6.5″ with good shoulder flare. Has good wither clearance, fits a bit flatter through the bars. This is a great option for an athletic built QH type horse with a wither and straighter/flatter top line. Very short skirted at just 22″, making this a great option for a pony, too!  Roughed out jockeys and fenders to keep its rider secure, with very adjustable free swinging fenders. Fenders offer plenty of adjustment, going short enough for a youth rider. There’s room for more holes if needed as well. This is such a sharp and classic looking barrel saddle. This darling little saddle has had a major facelift! All screws replaced, a few leather rosettes and a couple conchos replaced, loose stitching repaired, and has a brand new set of stirrup leathers on it. This is an older saddle so does show a few cosmetic flaws that aren’t something that can be erased with a facelift. There are a few small nicks in the leather of the cantle, a few spots of faint discoloration on the leather, and a bit of wear to the rawhide on the horn. All minor and all cosmetic. Does have a pair of trophy stirrups on it. This one is ready to go!
