13.5″ Longhorn All Around Saddle

This is such a nice older saddle. Has a smaller seat at 13.5″, making this one youth friendly, with super adjustable fenders that will grow with your kiddo, working for teen or adult riders too. Does measure and fit true to 13.5″, with a slightly raised twist and moderate cantle, offering a secure fitting ride. On what appears to be Semi bars, measuring 6″ with some flare and a bit of rock to the bars. Fitting a horse with a stronger wither and wide shoulder, think athletic build type horses. Short skirt at just 24.5, and is a single skirt which helps cut down on weight. This Longhorn is truly an all around saddle, bring together elements of a barrel saddle, trail saddle, and equitation saddle which will support your young rider in many different arenas. 3″ barrel style horn, 3″ cantle, and comes fitted. What really sets this saddle apart from others is the tooling. Holy COW is it pretty, fully tooled in hand-tooled sunflowers in a classic Sheridan style. While this saddle is older, its been well cared for. Shows minor spots of discoloration/darkening, minor scuffs and scraps, but overall really nice. Leather is just a bit dry, but has already soaked up oil and isn’t stiff at all. Talk about a pretty, affordable saddle!
