13.5” Rio Grand Tack Youth Ranch Saddle

Here is a punchy little rig that is made right and is plenty heavy duty. This one is a production made saddle for Rio Grand Livestock out of El Paso, TX. Made on a bullhide wrapped wood tree, seems to be reinforced in all the right places with a post horn that is plenty sturdy enough for dallying. On WIDE fitting Full QH bars, measuring 8.5”+ with nice flare to the front of the tree, decent wither clearance, and a bit of rock. Offers a true 13.5” seat, 4” cantle, and with the roughed out seat, jockeys, and fenders this one will ride plenty secure. Half breed style with roughed out under skirts and tooled upper skirts, cantle, and swells. 25” equitation style skirt for a close contact feel, fenders go plenty long enough for an adult rider, and comes fitted. Has a lighter weight stirrup on the saddle that are not original. 3” wrapped post horn-has not been roped off of. This is a heavier rig, weighing in at about 32lbs. Hardly used, shows very few signs of use and frankly the couple scuffs it does show are more likely due to storage. This is a nice little working saddle at a heck of a price!
