14.5″ Alamo Saddlery Barrel Saddle

How nice is this saddle!? From Alamo Saddlery, this cutie is a great option for a family friendly saddle or for a growing youth rider. 14.5″ seat, however this one does fit a bit closer to 14″ as it has a surprisingly deep seat and higher cantle. On what appears to either be a Buster Welch tree or style tree, with a closer contact feel. On QH Bars that measures 6.75″ with nice flare and just a bit of rock through the bars. Will fit a traditional built QH type horse well. Has a super short skirt at just 23″, single skirt, and slightly set back rigging that opens up the shoulder well. Clearly built with weight in mind, surprisingly light without feeling ‘cheap’. 4″ cantle, 3″ horn, deeper seat bed to keep its rider secure. Fenders have a crazy amount of adjustment to them, going youth friendly and plenty long enough for most adult riders. There is plenty of room to add more holes, too. Free swinging fenders, has upgraded aluminum stirrups added. Surprisingly lightweight too, at roughly 23lbs. Comes with rear cinch billets. Usually, we aren’t a huge fan of inlayed leather, but Alamo did this one right. Has inlayed cross in faux exotic leather on the skirt, matching leather on the eat, and stirrup hobbles. Finished off with an upgraded, fancy concho. There is a bit of wear to the faux exotic leather seat, with some rubbing off the color (bling pocket jeans are the worst!) but leather is sound. Bit of scuffing to the horn from being set on the ground a few too many times. Overall, this one is in well cared for condition and is so cute. At this price, you can’t go wrong!
