14.5″ Cactus Charmayne James Barrel Saddle

Gosh, this saddle is so cool! We love, love, LOVE this one! This 14.5″ barrel saddle is from the amazing team up of Cactus Saddlery and Charmayne James, designed to keep the rider secure while prioritizing saddle fit and movement of your equine athlete. Nice deep seat with a raised twist, wider seat base, free hung fenders, and is so secure. On WIDE fitting Full QH Bars, measuring 7″ with a ton of flare, wide through the full tree, and just a bit of rock to the bar. Has Cactus’ very popular leather and memory foam underside-rather than fleece or wool-that reduces bulk, gives a closer contact feel, AND reduces slipping of your saddle. This saddle will ride VERY securely, with roughed out jockeys that have ample grip/stick. This saddle has a nice look. In lighter oiled leather with a cool, modern geometric stamping pattern, larger bicycle inlaid seat, and a unique concho. It’s pretty without being too much. Very short single skirt with slightly dropped front rigging to help open up the shoulder. Has a slightly taller and more substantial horn. Youth friendly, as the fenders have an insane amount of adjustment, meaning this is adult rider friendly, too. The slack of the leathers have been cut, but no holes were cut off, so no impact to length but no longer has room for more holes to allow the fenders to go longer. This will not impact most riders, unless you’re super tall. Does not come with stirrups. This saddle has been incredibly well cared for. Has very soft leather, showing only minor signs of use. There’s a few scuffs to the horn cap from being set on it’s horn, but minor and purely cosmetic. This is a great quality, affordable barrel saddle.
