It can be far too hard to find smaller seated, quality ropers. This Cactus roper is the real deal! It’s stout, made right, and is one to trust to hold up. Made by the team up of Cactus Saddlery and world champion roper Chad Masters, this saddle has all the bells and whistles you could want. Offers a true 14.5″ seat with a semi-deep seat bed. This one will keep you feeling secure in your seat without being constricting. On very wide fitting Full QH Bars that measure 7.5″, fitting low and wide with plenty of shoulder flare. Has moderate rock through the bars. This is a great option for a thick built, wider horse. This saddle is a great option for a petite or youth rider, as the fenders go short enough to easily accommodate a youth/teen rider, while still offering plenty of length. There’s room for more holes if needed, too. The tree is bullhide wrapped wood, reinforced in all the right places, and is a true roper tree. Large rigging rings that are double reinforced, comes with a nice pair of weighted rawhide roper stirrups, and has an equitation cut skirt for a closer contact feel. Roughed out fenders, jockeys, and skirts that ride very securely, with a lightly textured leather seat. While this is a work horse, it’s still pretty! Has stunning sunflower tooling and is finished off with a sharp, custom concho. Comes fully fitted and currently has a wrapped horn. This one has been used, but has been very well cared for. Excellent leather quality that has been well maintained. It does have a few minor cosmetic blemishes from time and use, but minimal. This is a heck of a saddle. Quality saddle like these don’t come cheap, and they come with a wait. This niceused roper is offered at a heck of a price!
