14.5″ J&M Saddlery All Around Trail Saddle

If you told us this saddle was a Dakota, we’d believe you! What we could have sworn was a Dakota is actually made by J&M Saddlery. While there is a J&M Saddlery around, it’s not the same saddle builder who built this cute little saddle. Sadly, the original builder has since closed up shop, but just like a Dakota saddle, this one is fully US made and really nice quality. Build on a 15″ tree, but with the deeper seat and high cantle, measures and fits true to 14.5″. Build on a fiberglass wrapped wood tree, that fits like Semi Bars, measuring 6″ with decent shoulder flare and just a bit of rock to the bars. This one will fit an athletic horse well. Built in an All Around/Trail style, but with a deeper seat and free swinging fenders, this one is more than appropriate to game in, too! Offers nice, chestnut oiled leather, a mix between oak leaf and basketweave tooling, and a nice silver concho to give it a bit of bling. While an older saddle, this one has been well cared for. Offers softer leather, pre-turned fenders that offer a ton of adjustment, and large stainless rigging. Overall, it’s been very well maintained, only showing a bit of typical signs of use with a bit of discoloration, some scuffs and scrapes, and minor wear to the fenders. It has been stored on its horn a bit too often, so has a teeny bit of curling to the front skirts. This saddle is both attractive, well made, and so budget friendly!
