14.5″ Simco Western Trail Saddle

This older Simco is truly a barn fresh find. Despite it spending a better part of a decade…or two…in a barn, its coming back nicely and with a bit of elbow grease, has more life left in it. It’s a great example of the how quality tack can last, even after years of neglect. This 15″ (fits like 14.5) Simco all around Trail is a lighter weight saddle, on a ralide tree and single skirt so doesn’t weigh as much as some of the older saddles. Offers a wider and more shallow seat with a 2.5″ cantle, still riding securely and is so darn comfortable. On what looks to be Semi QH bars, that measure 6.25″ with a moderate fork angle and is flatter through the bars. Very adjustable fenders, going both long and quite short. Lovely tooling on this one. Has in skirt rigging and the rigging plate appears to be Bork. Shorter skirt at 24″. This saddle is an older one and does show signs of neglect. The skirts are a bit wonky from storage, but are straightening out. Has some scuffs from time, use, and storage, has some marks on the seat, but nothing too significant. Does not come with stirrups. We’ve gone through this one and its sound, just needs some elbow crease and some leather conditioner. At this price, you can’t go wrong!
