14″ Saddlesmith Steinhoff Barrel Saddle

This is just a nice barrel saddle, that is great quality and with a more modern look. Designed by Tanya Steinhoff and made by Saddlesmith, this one rides so darn nice. A true 14″ with a deeper seat, raised twist, and suede offering a very secure ride. Fenders and jockeys are roughed out as well, adding even more security. On QH bars that measure 6.5″, fitting wide with great flare, wide through the whole tree, and has some good rock to the bars. This is a great for a horse who is…chunkier through their whole back. This one is on a wood tree, so isn’t terribly light, but the trade off is a tree that will last. Built on a Buster Welch tree, which offers free swinging fenders, a more cutting style horn, and has a nice deep seat pocket that will keep you on your pockets. This one has a really pretty upgraded Hansen Western Gear (HWG) German Silver Cross conchos that give it a unique look without being ‘too’ much. Fenders have an insane amount of adjustment to them, going really short that makes this nice saddle youth friendly, but long enough for adult riders too. While an older saddle, this one has been incredibly well cared for. The leather on the fenders and jockeys is butter soft, and have been re-roughed/refinished to make them extra grippy. This is a used saddle, but clearly hasn’t been abused. Aside from minor/normal wear, the rawhide on the bottom side of the horn cap is just a bit loose but we are being far too picky at this point. This one is ready to hit the arena. We are loving this saddle and we know you will too!
