15.5″ Circle Y All Around Equitation Saddle

This saddle just celebrated its 31^st birthday—which is absolutely insane—as its in incredible condition. We’ve had saddles in that are a fraction of its age, seeing far more use and wear. This awesome saddle is a true all around saddle, made right and clearly ready ride another 30+ years. Per serial number, this one is a 16”, but with the raised twist and ample padding, measures and fits true to 15.5”. On Circle Y’s standard bars, but fitting far wider than you’d expect-fitting true to Full QH bars, measuring 7” with ample fare and rock through the bars. This one will fit a horse well. Double rigging plates, leather latigos, and comes fitted with rear rigging and strings. In a traditional style, looking almost like an older reining saddle, but rides like Park and Trail and is so darn comfortable. No tooling on this one (WAY easier to keep clean), in our favorite dark oiled leather. 3” cantle, slightly taller 3.5” horn, 26.5” skirt. This one is built on a wood tree, so isn’t the lightest saddle, but that’s part of the reason this one has lasted. The saddle itself is near pristine, with soft leather and showing limited use. Has a few very small nicks/marks there and there, but so minor. The only real condition flaw is thanks to a naughty blue heeler puppy who felt the stirrups and the end of the strings were perfect chew toys. Each stirrups are quite chewed up-but are usable as is. Thankfully, stirrups are easy to replace. Also comes with stirrup turners. For riders who appreciate how saddles were made ‘in the good old days’ will appreciate this cool saddle!
