15.5″ Circle Y Wood Tree Park and Trail

If you’ve been with us for a while, you’ll know we are awfully fond of dark oiled Circle Y saddles, especially the older ones. This one is the perfect combination of all the things we love-an older CY, a Park and Trail..AND..this is a true all around work saddle. This one is a Park and Trail per serial number–but is clearly having an identity crisis. Yes, it rides like a one, but is built on a wood tree. This one is a heavier, well made saddle that is more than just a trail saddle, this one will hold up to some work! Per serial number, this one is a 16″, but fits and measures like a 15.5″, with a nice scoopy seat, moderate cantle, and some nice padding. On what appears to be QH Bars, measuring a true 6.75″ with a bit of rock and wide shoulder flare. 28″ skirt, nicely padded seat, very adjustable fenders, and is double rigged. When we say adjustable fenders, we mean it. These go longggggggg. 3″ horn and cantle, has nice strings and slightly cut back swells-almost bear trap style. If you are looking for a lightweight saddle, keep scrolling. This one weighs 36lbs. While an older one, likely from early 1995 if we are reading the serial number right, this one has not been used and abused. No tooling, so easy to keep clean. Aside from some normal scuffs, this one has likely been in storage for some time. It was a bit dry, but has been conditioned like crazy and has softened up a ton. Great saddle and great price!
