16″ Jeff Smith Ranch Custom Cutting Saddle

This Jeff Smith Custom Cutting Saddle is as pretty as it is handy! It’s one you can trust to be your ‘go to’ saddle, whether for daily riding or the show pen, this one is ready to go! It has all the feel, quality, and details you’d expect from Jeff Smith. Offers a true 16″ seat, with a slightly raised twist, wide and low seat bed, and is extra grippy with the roughed out hard seat, jockeys, and fenders. Build on a Buster Welch cutter tree, on Full QH Bars with generous 8+” gullet, with 7″ gullet height. This is a great option for a thicker/rounder build horse. Offers great shoulder flare and moderate rock through the bars. Offers very adjustable fenders, going plenty short enough for a petite rider, with plenty of length for a leggy one, too. Reinforced full rigging, comes fully fitted, and is finished off with a nice pair of Nettle stirrups, strings, and a custom concho from JS. We especially love equitation cut skirt as it give a great, close contact feel. This saddle is full roughed out in chocolate brown leather with matching chocolate buck stitching along the fenders and rear of the jockeys. This saddle has been used but incredibly well care for. Leather is butter soft, rough out is still very grippy. Has a few minor/small blemishes/signs of use, but all are very minor and typical of a used saddle. Has a small nick at the very front of the horn from being set on its horn, but we are being far too picky about this outstanding saddle. Great it while you can, and without the wait!
