15.5″ Rocking R A Fork Trail Saddle

We are smitten with this Rocking R trail saddle and you will be too once you sit in it! This trail saddle from Rocking R has such a nice look. Sadly, Rocking R has closed its doors so these nice saddles are getting harder and harder to find, especially in this condition! This one offers a true 15.5″ seat with a slightly raised twist, deep seat bed, and taller cantle–this one keeps you secure and comfortable. The swells are an A Fork, meaning they are smaller and not as wide as most saddles to help open up the seat and give more room for your thighs. Some riders add bucking rolls to give the swells a bit more bulk, and this one could easily have a set added. This one is build on our favorite Steele Saddle Equi-Fit tree, which means it flares out a bit at the front of the tree, giving great clearance to your horse’s shoulder. Build on Arab bars, fitting wide that measure a generous 7.5″, with a ton of flare and rock to the bars. Making this a great option for those curvier horses out there. Don’t let “Arab” scare you away. All that means is it has a shorter bar angle in the front and more rock to the bars, meaning its a great option for many different breeds! This saddle has a very unique, wide tooled and stamped border in a cool Southwestern and Arrowhead pattern. It’s really understated and unique. Its in our favorite dark oiled leather that has been impeccably cared for and is butter soft.  Shows far less use than you’d expect. Does show a bit of smoothing to the suede on the seat, but is very typical and could easily be roughed out again. This is an absolutely lovely saddle, one that is in great condition, is incredibly comfortable, and so affordable for the quality. We can’t keep these saddles in very long, jump on this one!
