15.5″ Simco Roping Saddle

Is this the prettiest saddle…no. Is this the coolest saddle around….also no. Think of this saddle like the big kneed old red ranch gelding that many of us have in the pasture. Not the prettiest thing, has ugly legs, but is trust worthy and as hard working as any you’ll find. This 15.5″ Simco Roper is an older one, and clearly been the trusted ride for some time. This workhorse is a heavy duty work saddle on a bullhide wrapped wood tree, on Full QH bars that measure 7″ fitting low and wide, with just a bit of rock. Built in a ranch saddle stile with a deeper seat and post horn that measures 3.5″ x 3″. 27″ double skirt, reinforced rigging, and just a bit of tooling to give it a nice look. Fenders go very long and have lots of adjustment, does NOT come with stirrups, comes with its rear billets. Despite being an older saddle, and one that has clearly worked for a living, this one has been well cared for. Leather is very soft, no condition issues just isn’t the prettiest saddle as it shows cosmetic wear. Has some discoloration, scuffs and scrapes, and some minor surface cracking. This one is still sound to ride and work–and you can’t go wrong at this price.
