15″ American Saddlery Barrel Saddle

Here is another one of those ‘trusty rusty’ saddles, made when saddles were made right and tight. This is an older American Saddlery Barrel saddle-ready to barrel race, trail ride, or for 4H. It has clearly has been a favorite of its last owner, seeing a ton of ride time and use. Despite being used…and a bit abused, this saddle proves that quality tack lasts. This one measures 15.5″ to stitching, but with the higher cantle, fitting like at 15″. On Semi bars that measures 6”, with lots of wither clearance, lots of flare, and some rock. VERY short skirt at just 23.5”. Fenders have decent adjustment. They don’t go terribly long, but go plenty short!  4” cantle, 3” horn. Has slightly set back rigging to open up the shoulder. Built on a ralide tree, making this one a great, lightweight option. This one is older but is far from used up. Shows normal signs of use and age. The tooling has smoothed out over time, has a bit of wear to the horn cap, and has minor stretching to the fender holes. At this price, you can’t go wrong!
