15″ Circle Y Martha Josey Balance Ride Barrel Saddle

This Circle Y is made with the great team-up of national champion rider Martha Josey. Designed to be a true balance ride saddle, with flat balance ride, in skirt rawhide rigging as well as adjustable, free swinging balance ride stirrups. This saddle keeps the rider secure while allowing for a true balance, free swinging ride. The serial number is WAY up on the skirt, so we are going off measurements and fit. 14\5″ seat that is deep and secure with a 4″ cantle. Very deep seat with a slightly raised twist and paired with the roughed out jockeys and fenders, this one will keep you secure. On QH bars that measure 7″, with almost an Equi-fit appearance to the tree with lots of flare through the shoulder and moderate rock to the bars. We believe this saddle is a 2000 model, and despite its age, this saddle is in well cared for condition. We’ve gone through this saddle and made some minor repairs such as a horn repair, reinforced the back of the stirrup leathers, a bit of stitching replaced, and have tightened the balance fender attachment. Fenders have darkened from time and use, but all leather on this saddle is very soft. Sharp tooling on this saddle and overall has such a nice look. Balance rigging is tight and not at all stretched. Comes with a nice set of angled aluminum stirrups and a cool blue latigo set. This is a darn nice saddle and there is a reason this was one of the most popular saddles offered by Martha Josey. At this price, you can’t go wrong either!
