We just love, love these dark oil Circle Y trail saddles! It’s been a minute since we’ve had an Omaha Flex Trail in, and this is a great one to break that drought. This is an early Omaha Trail, made on a Flex Lite Tree. The model number is 1554, which is an Omaha, but is marked Park and Trail on the serial plate. 15” per serial number, fitting true to that with a heavily padded seat and deeper seat. On Circle Y’s wide bars per serial number, but doesn’t fit wide. Instead, it fits like QH bars with a 6.75” gullet and wide fork angle. Moderate rock through the bars, decent wither clearance, double rigged for great adjustment, and very adjustable fenders that go quite long. This saddle has a cool ‘after market’ addition to the fenders, with a patch that mounts to the back of the fender that turns the stirrup without adding bulk. It’s not something that we’ve seen before, but it’s darn nifty. It mounts with Chicago screws, which you can see on the front of the lower fender. Has all stainless hardware with plenty of rings and strings for all of your packs. This is an older saddle-a 2004 model-but has been incredibly well cared for. The leather is quite soft, showing only a few minor/typical signs of use. Comes with matching breast collar and rear cinch billets. This is an outstanding saddle, one that is in excellent condition and is so darn comfortable. This trail saddle will be your next favorite!
