15” Langerud Custom All Around Ranch Saddle

It is getting harder and harder to get ahold of a used Langerud Custom Saddle, especially some of the ‘fancier’ ones. Cliff is retired…mostly…kinda…so its worth taking advantage of the rare used ones. This is a true all around saddle, built on a Bowden Olin Young tree, designed to work all day, ride comfortably, and dally a rope just fine. Built on a 15.5″ tree, but with the nice deep seat and built up seat bed, this one fits like a 14.5″. On Full QH bars, measuring 7″ with a 8″ tall gullet height, with one offers ample wither clearance, wide flare, and has rock to the bars. This one is made to work, and fit a horse well. On a bullhide wrapped tree, with 3″ x 3″ post horn that can take a rope and dally. Offers a classic design, bringing together the feel of a reining saddle with the durability of a roper. This one was a one-owner saddle, and to make it a bit ‘grippier’ for speed events, Cadie and Cliff roughed out the seat bed. Offers the feel of a slick seat with a ton more grip. Real fleece underside, made on Wicket and Craig leather with classic floral tooling-just a bit- and finished off with Jeremiah Watt hardware. Single skirt at 26″, 4″ cantle, comes with mounted hoof pick pouch, and very adjustable fenders. Fenders are free swinging and have a Hamley twist. Strings for your packs, comes fitted. This saddle has been used, but well cared for. The leather on this one is butter soft! No major signs of use or wear, showing nothing more than a few scuffs and signs of use. This isn’t a light saddle, weighing in at about 37lbs.
