Here is a nice, older, quality saddle that is just waiting to start out a 4H’er in the show arena. From TexTan/Hereford and their line of AQHA show saddles, designed to be affordable and have a great show look. This one is a 15.5″ set, but fits and measures true to 15″ and offers a wider, and semi deep seat that is very secure. Slightly raised twist and nice deep seat pockets will help you stay in the saddle well. Very adjustable fenders, going longer than many with plenty of room for holes so your kiddo doesn’t outgrow their show saddle. On what appears to be Semi Bars, measuring 6″, with an “A” framed tree, making this a great option for a strong withered and angular shouldered horse, bit flatter through the bars. 26″ skirt, plenty of silver to get you noticed, and the perfect amount of tooling. Silver is very nice, showing age appropriate tarnish. This saddle is a 1994 model saddle and has been a one owner saddle, clearly incredibly well cared for, stored inside and has aged beautifully. It has darkened a bit to a rich chestnut color that’s quite pretty. There are a few darker spots on the saddle, mainly on the near side jockey, but quite minor. Leather is in very good condition and is quite soft. We seriously impressed with the condition of this saddle! Great quality, affordable starter show saddle that is made to last!
