16.5″ Dakota Wade Roping Saddle

Now, here is a heck of a work saddle. Not only will this one hold up, its got a heck of a punchy look. Dakota isn’t known for Wade Ropers, but you wouldn’t know that when you look at this one. What’s even crazier is the condition of this saddle. Well over 20 years old, this one doesn’t appear to have an honest days work in its life. Its time to put it to work! 17″  per serial number, but with a deep, deep seat and raised twist this one fits and measures 16.5″. Offers a slick seat and 4″ cantle. On a Wade tree with narrow A-Fork swells and 3.5″ x 4″ post horn. Fits like WIDE fitting Full QH bars measuring 7+”, fitting low and wide with plenty of flare and rock through the bars. Tree is fiberglass wrapped wood tree and is reinforced in all the right places. Round 28.5″ double skirt, in skirt and reinforced rigging. Fenders have a ton of adjustment, and plenty of strings finish this one off. In a darker/medium oiled leather, tooled in classic basketweave stamping, and is finished off with all stainless hardware. Has a nice pair of weighted oxbow stirrups added and comes fully rigged. If you’re looking for a lightweight saddle–this one isn’t for you. With its tack, weighs in at 40lbs. In very good, well cared for condition with very nice leather. Has a few scuffs/scrapes but shows far less use than you’d expect from a working saddle. Add a pair of bucking rolls, and you’ll be ready to get to work. With the way Wade saddles are priced right now, you can’t go wrong with this one.
