16″ American Saddlery Vintage Parade Saddle w/ Tack

This incredible saddle comes from a dear friend and client of ours, with an equally incredible story. Her father saved for years for this saddle, and by the time he was able to purchase his dream for his favorite horse, life had caught up. He was only able to use it a few times, more often it was in photos than actual riding. To remember his dream and his commitment, his daughter proudly, and fondly displayed this beauty in her home for years. Now, life has changed again–and frankly we think our friend is tried of us saying that leather not in use ages faster–she says its time to let this beauty find its new person. From American Saddlery, this classic parade saddle offers all the chrome, shine, and look you’d want from one. American build their parade saddles on their equitation saddle, meaning it is actually comfortable and functional. On a true 16″ seat with a moderate cantle and semi-deep seat bed that offers nice padding and grip from the suede. On QH Bars that measure deceptively wide, measuring 7.25″ as it has a lot of shoulder flare, but is a more “A” framed tree and flatter through the bars. Fenders offer a surprisingly amount of adjustment, going really long. Fenders are finished off with a stunning set of matching tapaderos. This saddle is all black with unique poinsettia floral tooling. Of course, it is decked out in chrome/silver diamonds along the fenders, skirts, cantle and more. This stunning set comes with its matching tack! Comes with matching bridle with caveson, split reins, breast collar with wither strap and drops. When we said hardly used, we meant it. In fact, the bridle still has it’s new product tag! This saddle has spent most of its life as a house cat, living in the house, looked at lovingly. It has aged so well! Leather still has that new feel. Has a bit of localized sun fading on the rear top skirt behind the seat and a few tiny scuffs/scrapes. The tack is a bit dry and a bit wonky from storage, but is in exceptional condition overall. This set is just outstanding and ready to make another person’s dream come true.
