16″ Billy Cook Classic All Around Western Saddle

This is a really nice all around type saddle. This Billy Cook Classic (OK Made) #1777 is the perfect combination of a trail saddle but is built to hold up to daily riding and hard work. Built on a heavy duty rawhide wrapped wood tree, it offers the comfort of a trail saddle but the feel of a cutting saddle. In fact, this is build on a modified Buster Welch style tree. On Full QH bars, measuring 7” with a plenty of flare and decent rock through the bars. This one will fit a wide shouldered, athletic/modern bred QH type horse well. This one is a 16″, however does fit just a teeny bit smaller with how the seat bed rides, keeping you on your pockets while still having plenty of padding. In skirt front rigging with large, stainless rear rigging rings. It comes with matching rear cinch billets. This saddle has a really nice, classic look with medium/darker oiled leather and lined with a unique, geometric stamped border. This saddle has clearly been a favorite of its last rider, but well cared for. Leather is butter soft and incredibly supple. Has has either been dallied off of or ponied another horse, as it does have some minor rope burning on the horn. Has a bit of discoloration, a few scrapes, but clearly well cared for. While it has a trail horn, its proof that quality built saddles last–even if used a bit rough! We’ve inspected this one, replaced all the screws, put a new set of slot conchos, strings, and leather rosettes all away around on this nice saddle. We also repaired a bit of loose stitching. This really nice saddle is ready to ride!
