16″ Billy Royal Training Saddle

We do not take in trophy saddles for obvious reasons but this one is the exception for LOTS of reasons. This Billy Royal Training Saddle rides like a Cadillac! This is a darn nice and very well built training saddle and will surely hold up to darn near anything you throw its way. We feel this one rides like a high end brand without the high end price tag. On a 16.5″ tree, padded to 16″ offering ample cushion and raised twist-putting you on your pockets and keeping you secure. On Full QH Bars, measuring 6.75″ with a ton of flare and some rock to the bars. This one will fit a horse well. Fully roughed out and is very grippy. Has a single trophy fender (near side) and since it is a single fender, we did not replace or flip the fender. The trophy print was very faint to begin with and with a bit of sanding, its hardly visible. It will be far less visible once this saddle is actually used. On an equitation skirt that measures 28″ that offers a great close contact feel. 3.5″ cantle, 2.25″ pleasure horn. All D Rings are tight, built right, and has very soft leather. Fenders offer a ton of adjustment, going surprisingly short making this saddle one you can share among many riders of varying height. More importantly, the fenders are petite/youth rider friendly too! This saddle is near pristine, maybe ridden in three or four times. This saddle isn’t terribly light, but it’s definitely not the heaviest trainer out there–weighs 33lbs. This is a heck of a saddle for a heck of a price!
