16″ Dale Chavez Equitation Show Saddle

Talk about a cool looking saddle! We love older Dale Chavez saddles-they have such a nice look, great materials and construction, and frankly last. This older one is no different! Not only is the one sharp, its so comfortable! This show saddle is a cross between a classic WP and West Coast show saddle with the striking silver horn, large silver plates, and single rear skirt. Padded to 16″, offers a wide and heavily padded seat with a deeper seat bed–this saddle is sure to keep you secure even during the Ranch versatility classes. On Full QH bars, but not as ridiculously wide like some of the modern ones, with the tree measuring 7″ with wide shoulder flare, moderate wither clearance, and rock through the bars. This will fit a thicker, athletic horse well. The profile of this saddle is really stunning with the massive silver plates along the edge of the skirts, silver over the cantle, almost the full swell/pommel, and of course the silver western pleasure horn. The leather on this one offers classic basketweave stamping and has darkened to a rich walnut color. We feel like this saddle is begging to be dyed black!–we can help with that, just saying (; Single, equitation style skirt that offers a nice, close contact feel and helps cut down on overall weight of the saddle. Fenders offer a ton of adjustment, going short enough for a teen or petite rider. Has Chavez’s easy/low profile stirrup buckle. While this saddle is older, it has been incredibly well cared for. Leather is very soft, showing some darkening, some of which is a bit inconsistent, silver shows minor tarnish, and a few minor scuffs but overall this saddle has been very, very well cared for. Comes with its insulated Dale Chavez saddle cover. This is a heck of a saddle, one that will last and won’t break your budget. It will look outstanding in any show arena!
