16” Dale Chavez Show Saddle

This saddle is the perfect combination of showy, but not ‘too’ much. This is Dale Chavez show saddle has all the right look-unique tooling, stunning silver, a modern profile, and the most tasteful accents. 16.5″ (Padded to 16″), this one is a custom ordered Rio, with the famed equitation skirt, mini-basketweave tooling, and floral detail. On wide fitting Full QH Bars, measuring 8″, with ample flare and wider through the whole tree without compromising rock. Built on the DC Elite Tree, designed to support even the biggest movement while also offering a close contact feel. The seat is just a dream! Nicely padded with a raised twist and very deep seat bed, this one is so well balanced without feeling like you are floating above your horse. What sets this one aside from the typical Rio show saddle is the silver work. This one has large silver plates, all silver plated, with copper overlayed accents, lined with raised dots, including Zuni detailed dots at the top of the rear plates. The copper detailing is carried through with large copper dots that line all the skirts. Wow, is this one unique! 3″ cantle, 2.5″ horn, 28″ skirt. Only used for a couple show classes, this one is in incredible condition. Leather is near pristine, silver has just a bit of tarnish from storage. This pretty saddle will look great in even the biggest show pens!
