16″ Guffey Saddlery Trail Saddle

If you looked at this saddle and thought, Brassy has another classic Circle Y Park and Trail–you’re in good company! We were shocked that this one IS NOT a Circle Y, but it has all the look, feel, and quality of one. This great trail saddle is made by Guffey Saddlery, which is an older saddle company that made quality saddles in tack, and are fully US Made. In our favorite dark oiled leather that has just a bit of classic floral tooling, finished off with a bit of silver along the rear skirts. This is the perfect trail saddle, while being pretty enough for 4H or local shows. Measures and fits true to 16″ while offering a deep seat bed, just the right amount of padding, and a VERY deep seat with a 5″ cantle. On what appears to be QH Bars, measuring 6.5″ with moderately wide flare, good wither clearance, and fits a bit flatter through the bars. Double rigged, offers fenders that have a ton of adjustment, going short enough for a youth rider. While this is an older saddle, its been very well cared for. Shows less use than you’d expect, leather is quite soft, and clearly stored well. The biggest condition flaw to note is some discoloration on the suede seat. Very minor and completely cosmetic. This is a really nice saddle, and is frankly a great Circle Y Park and Trail knock off for a way more affordable price.
