16″ Montana Mountain Horse Western Gaited Saddle

While Montana Mountain Horse Saddles are no longer in business, they did make a name for themselves in the trail and gaited horse communities. Well recognized for quality, lighter weight saddles that were comfortable for all day riding. Here is a great opportunity to get a nice quality saddle for a great price…just needing a bit of elbow crease and you’ll be getting this one for a steal! From Montana Mountain Horse’s Go Light, this  trail saddle is specifically designed for comfort on even the longest rides while also being really light weight. Jockeys, swells, seat, and cantle are all leather with the skirts and fenders being Codura. Stamped 16″, paired with the 3″ cantle and ample padding, will fit a bit closer to 15.5″.  Fitting like Full QH Bars that measure 7″ with ample flare. Built on a Gaited Tree, but don’t let that scare you away if you don’t have a gaited horse. That means it has a shorter bar length in the front and more rock to the bars. Great for many different horse breeds. 3″ trail horn, 25.5″ faux double skirt to help cut down on weight, and fenders that offer a ton of adjustment. Weighs just 26lbs. All black leather and Codura gives this one a nice look, too. Ok, so why is this one so darn affordable?! This saddle desperately needs a date with a pressure washer. Stored in a very dusty barn and despite plenty of cleaning time, the Codura is sooooo dusty. Does have some discoloration to the leather and leather has dried out a bit. Put a bit of work into this nice saddle, you’ll have a heck of a deal here!
