16″ RS Saddlery Roping Saddle

This is such a nice saddle! This RS Roper is the perfect ranch roping/work saddle. Built heavy enough to hold up to hard work, but comfortable enough for the weekend trail rider. 16″ per serial number, fitting and measuring 15.5″ with a deeper seat and slightly raised twist. Fully roughed out seat, jockeys and fenders so will ride very securely. Per serial number, this one is on RS Saddlery’s #02 tree, which is QH Bars, measuring 6.5″ with lots of shoulder flare, moderate/low rock through the bars. Heavy duty bullhide covered wood tree, one you can feel assured will hold up to hard work. All stainless hardware, 7/8th rigged, and post horn. Has pretty oak leaf tooling and is finished off with Montana silver conchos. Fenders offer an insane amount of adjustment, with room for more holes if needed. This nice saddle comes fully rigged including back cinch set and a nice pair of weighted rawhide roper stirrups. This saddle has been well cared for. It has been roped off of and does have a bit of rope burning on the horn and a few scuffs/scrapes in a couple spots, but are all minor and purely cosmetic. The front skirts are a bit wonky from being stored up against another saddle, but does not impact how it sits on a horse and will straighten out with time and proper storage. The leather on this saddle is incredibly soft. If you’re looking for a light saddle, this one isn’t for you. It’s a true work saddle, so weighs in at 35lbs with its tack. This saddle is the real deal and ready to get to work!
