17.5″ Big Horn Draft Trail Saddle

Guys…this is literally a land hippo saddle, perfect for those true drafts or hunky horses out there. Not only is this saddle wide enough to ride a propane tank, its outstanding quality. This 17.5″ Big Horn Trail saddle is a true 17.5″, while stiff offering a deep seat with nice padding. You don’t give up comfort in this beauty. Built on a fiberglass wrapped wood tree, on true Draft Bars that measures 8″–keep in mind that it does “measure” smaller as it sits, but we know the true measurement directly from Big Horn. This one also has a taller gullet height at 7″, making this a great option for those rare drafties that have a sharp wither, too. This one has very wide flare, while still offering rock. Bigger seat does mean longer skirt, measuring 28″. This one is a true trail saddle, with a semi deep seat, nice padding, and free swinging fenders that go insanely long. Has all stainless hardware, double rigged, and finished off with Montana Silver conchos. We love the dark oiled leather on this one, with a wide tooled border of oak leaves. It’s a pretty, classic saddle! While this is an older saddle, it’s clearly seen far more storage than actual ride time. Very nice leather! It does have some scuffs and scrapes, mainly some naughty barn kitty scratches on the off side jockey. Does have a few wider scuffs on the cantle binding from other tack stored on it, but we are being really picky at this point. This is such a nice saddle!
