17″ Blevins Saddles Roping Saddle

Here is a nice quality and very affordable, US made roping saddle. Made by Raymond Blevins of Alabama, designed to be a step or two above an entry level saddle at an affordable price. Raymond stopped building saddles around 2010, but despite it being a bit older, this one has been very well cared for. Offers a true 17″ seat, riding like a Team Roper with a deeper seat pocket, higher cantle, and robust post horn. On QH bars that measures 6.75″ with moderate flare, good wither clearance, and fits flatter through the bars. We love the two-toned look of this saddle, in very dark oiled leather with black seat, top rear skirt, rigging, and strings. Finished off with a cool, geometric tooled border. Despite being an older saddle, this one has been well cared for. Very soft leather! Shows a few scuffs/scrapes in a few places, but nothing significant. This one isn’t as heavy duty as some ropers, but isn’t a light weight or cheap saddle either, weighing in at about 34lbs. Comes with matching rear rigging, does not come with stirrups. This is a sharp, quality saddle at a great price!
