17″ Circle Y Silver Canyon Wood Tree Park and Trail

As you know, we love LOVE our dark oil Circle Y’s. This one is an oldie, but goodie, made when Circle Y was the standard among saddles. To make it even better, this one is from the Silver Canyon line, which is an older line of all around saddles on a wood tree. Per Serial Number, this one is a Park and Trail. In our opinion, the construction of this trail saddle is a bit overkill. It is heavy duty, reinforced in all the right places, and will hold up to some harder work. The Silver Canyon line of saddles was a limited run with some cool additions-Hamley twisted fenders and a pair of heavy duty, weighted Walls Stirrups. And yes, this one still has them on it! Is a 17″ seat per serial number, fitting just a bit smaller. Seriously! You can have a quality saddle that is plus size rider friendly! On what appears to be QH Bars, measuring 7″ with a bit of rock and wide shoulder flare. This one will fit a horse well. Very deep seat pocket on this one, paired with a slightly deeper cantle at 3.5″, this one rides securely. Fenders offer a TON of adjustability, easily accommodating a tall rider. For those of you who appreciate the classic look, you’ll love this one. Simple basketweave stamping and just a bit of silver on the conchos. Nothing flashy, but still sharp looking. This one is from 1999, has been a one owner saddle, and incredibly well cared for. Yes, it’s been used plenty but its also been babied. Clearly oiled often as the leather is very soft. Shows minor/typical signs of use. It is missing it’s Silver Canyon decal concho from the near side latigo keeper, but is indeed from that line of saddles. This is a saddle that you can trust, and won’t break your budget.
