17″ Dakota Equi-Fit All Around Roping Saddle

This is such a nice saddle! Dakota Saddles are made so well, are built on Steele Saddle Trees, and are made to last. More importantly, you can have all those things at a great price! This Dakota was bought from us a couple years ago, coming in as a store demo saddle that hasn’t been used. In the last two years, it has seen maybe a dozen rides. Stored well and in incredible condition…but was victim to a naughty barn kitty, showing a few shallow cat scratches. This saddle is truly is plus size rider friendly with a 17″ seat! Fitting true to 17″ while still offering a moderately deep seat with 3″ cantle, great padding, and a wider seat bed. On A Steele Saddle Tree that is a WIDE Full QH bares that measures 7.75″, making this one even draft friendly! Great flare to the tree, wide through the whole tree, and has a bit of rock to the bars. This is the perfect combo between a roper and trail saddle, built to hold up to some hard work while still being comfy. Is built on a wood tree with reinforced post horn that measures 3.5″ x 3″, meaning it will dally just fine. Horn is leather wrapped. 27.5″ skirt and comes fully rigged. Double 7/8ths rigged, giving you rigging options and allows you to open up the shoulders. Lots of strings for packs, upgraded Montana Silver conchos, and incredibly adjustable fenders going very long. Dark leather that has just a bit of border stamping making this one easy to keep clean. This is a heck of a saddle, one that won’t break the bank if you are needing both a larger and wider saddle.
