17″ Tucker GenII High Plains Trail Saddle

It is no rumor about how much we love Tucker Saddles. We love these saddles so much, we have two of them! This one is a Gen II series saddle, specifically the popular High Plains Trail, offering Tucker’s incredibly popular  Fit-Fusion GII tree that incorporates a flex bar system consisting of carbon fiber reinforced wood and PolyForm conforming bars. This tree allows it to flex a bit to help accommodate changes to your horses shape and conform to them as they move. Per serial number, has a 17″ seat that fits true to that. Heavily padded with Tucker’s Gel-Cush seat that not only offers great padding but is cooling–literally you bum stays cool while riding! Per serial number, this one is on Tucker’s wide tree–but does NOT fit wide. Fits like QH Bars, measuring 6.75″ with wider shoulder flare and good rock through the bars. This is a great option for a horse with a moderately wide back, wide shoulders, with shape to their topline. Think running bred QH or similar built horse. It can be hard to find short skirts on larger seat saddles–the skirt is just 25″, making this a great option for a shorter backed horse. In our favorite dark oiled leather with just a bit of tooling, looking sharp with all brass hardware. Is a 2008 model, and despite being a bit older, has been incredibly well cared for. Leather is butter soft. The underside is felted wool, which is a great option to reduce bulk and slipping. Has plenty of rings, plus strings for your packs, also has a crupper ring. Comes with matching rear cinch billets. Does not come with stirrups. This saddle is in lovely, well cared for condition. Does show a few faint scratches, most only the near side jockeys, but minor and purely cosmetic. This is such a nice saddle! Grab it before we decide we need another Tucker!
